Convert ASCII TEXT to UTF-16 Pointer (LabVIEW VI Freezes)

This LabVIEW VI works 80% of the time but will thus occasionally freeze locking up LabVIEW App.

The two functions are:

-- Create UTF16 Pointer.vi  (From ASCII TEXT)

-- Create ASCII from UTF-16 Pointer

Does anyone know of an alternative .net dll or something that does these two functions reliably in LabVIEW?
