Hi,
during my experience Programming LabVIEW and supplying code to our various customers I found that: No matter how good your programming is, the appearance of the program always takes to cake. It's pretty obvious though, as it is the first thing you see...
I was thinking: Is there such a thing as a repository for Custom Controls, that are nicely done, which can be downloaded? That way it would be far easier to create beautiful interfaces.
If there is no such repository: Do you think it would be a good idea to create one?

Hi jak888,
In LabVIEW it is possible to add custom controls. This post in the Community pages details firstly how you can do it, and also has some icons that you may like to use.
If you think of ideas to add to LabVIEW, you may want to post them on the LabVIEW Idea Exchange forum page.
Hope this helps!

I can't seem to access the community site...

Hi again Jak888,
I noticed that too. When it follows the link it appears to be adding an additional "http://" to the end of the web address. Delete this or just go to: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-9921 to show the page.

Hi Jak,
There are some free UI control suites available in the LabVIEW tools network.
As for custom controls uploaded by users to a repository, these are currently available in the NI developer zone if you perform a search. I do however agree that a dedicated respository for custom UI's would be a very useful thing and I shall pass on a suggestion to our web implementation team. It would also be good if you suggest this yourself through the LabVIEW Idea Exchange and/or the Product Suggestion Center.
Many thanks for your post.
