DAQmx vi missing

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I've installed labView 2014,2013 & 2012 (32bit) & also v9.9 DAQ driver software & using a laptop, only usb connected to an X series multifunc DAQ device.

I want to view labview 2012 code for NI PCI 6221 card, but some vi's are missing (I also don't see a DAQmx dir in the labview  vi.lib dir).

How can I make these missing vi's available, without having to be connected to the multifunc DAQ device while installing the DAQ driver software?

Missing vi's:

DAQmx Fill In Error Info.vi

DAQmx Clear Task.vi

DAQmx Create Channel (DO - Digital Output).vi

DAQmx Create Virtual Channel.vi

DAQmx Write (Digital 1D Bool 1 Chan 1 Samp).vi

DAQmx Write.vi

regards & thx in advance

First of all, to use DAQmx with LabVIEW 2014, you need to install DAQmx 14.  Also make sure you install DAQmx AFTER you install LabVIEW.

As Rulez point out, Daqmx updates existing LV's at the time of installation, thus it must be installed last. Been there, done that. 😊

Daq14 will support all lower versions (of the ones you have)
