DDE Server
Hey!
I am building a program for DDE communication between LabVIEW and a program called PumpWorks and have a few questions about the DDE server.
Why can I write whatever I want as a ITEM NAME, it seems like the server communicate whit the hole program so that the ITEM NAME doesn’t have any function In the server?
What does the set block actually do?
In the NI-websites it stood that we need the server both for sending and receiving data but in my program I can send data without using the server?
Hopefully someone can enlighten me on this subject.
