DSC: Acknowledge Alarms.vi not working for UserDefinedAlarm

I'm using the special UserDefinedAlarm tag to record alarms, but I find that when I set the "Acknowledge Alarms.vi" to "Alarm" mode, it doesn't work.  At any given instance my system may have many different UserDefinedAlarm defined, each with a different name.  If I try to use Acknowledge Alarms.vi in "Variable" mode it will successfully acknowledge ALL the various UserDefinedAlarms regardless of their names -- but this is behaviour that I don't want;  rather, I want to be able to select a specific alarm instance and acknowledge it.

Using LV 8.5 DSC on WinXP SP2.

This was reported to R&D (# 4F6EQ23T) for further investigation.  A possible workaround is to define a separate Area for each different user defined alarm.  Then use the "Area" mode of the Acknowledge Alarms VI to acknowledge the individual alarms corresponding to the areas you defined.  Thanks for the feedback!
