Dani Robot

Hi i am working on a Dani robot and i am trying to use it as a slave and drive it by a blank paper. i would to set a distance of 0.3m between the robot(slave) and the Master which in my case is the blank paper. The slave should be able to keep that distance of 0.3m at all time and if the master accelerates, that difference of distance should be converted into velocity to re-adjust the slave motors so it keeps the same speed as the master.

does anyone have a type of example for that?
