DataSocket attribute on Real-Time

Hey Alex,

I've been looking into this and you were right that it does stem from the lack of ActiveX support on these targets, as indicated by the errors you received. It seems the Dataskt.llb VIs aren't meant for use with RT Targets. They should work with the DataSocket Open, Read, Write, and Close VIs in the DataSocket palette, but not the lower level VIs from Dataskt.llb.

Since we clarified the situation, do you know another solution for using the attributes using the Read/Write functions that works on RT ? Or other workarounds.

Hey Alex,

I'm not extremely familiar with DataSocket attributes but it doesn't appear there is a workaround for using them. I haven't been able to find any information internally indicating a way to read and write from the attributes with Real-Time.
