I have an application with a build and installer specification. The build correctly sets the custom icon to the exe. However, the icon for the desktop icon (of the installer) appears as the generic labview icon. I do not understand why. I changed the installer build specification destination directory, and name, yet didnt expect that to impact the icon. Furthermore, after I install my application if I right click the desktop icon, and go to properties, the icon file is correctly specified and shown within the properties dialog.
What would cause this behavior? I've looked at resetting the cache, however this is not the issue as my other icons are still correct. Are there any resources that may help me understand this behavior? I installed my application on a different computer and the desktop icon correctly displays.
