See the attached error. I've seen this before once, but I managed to get it to go away by adding 127.0.0.1 (and not just locahost) to the allowed machine list in labview's options.
But now I can't get it to go away, so the product is effectively broken for me. Any ideas?
edit: restarted, now it seems fine. . . anyone know the cause of this nonsense?

So after restarting, you can successfully run Desktop Execution? From what I understand, it could be an issue with the Desktop Execution toolkit being corrupted somehow, because this really is strange behavior. You may want to try repairing the toolkit in Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Programs and Features (Windows 7), or possibly uninstalling and reinstalling the toolkit if this persists.
