Developing a LabVIEW Real-Time Driver for a PCI Device

Hi,

I used a desktop pc as an rt target.

I used real time module 2015.

I would like to use a pci card (4port serial).

The pci card vendor said that the board does not have lvrt driver.

I searched and find the following link:

https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/06/developing-a-labview-real-time-driver-fo...

Since i am biginer in this field i find that very complicated.

Is there a easy way to install pci driver in rt target in labview 2015?

Thanks in  advanced

Keep your questions in one place, please. Duplicates are annoying and duplicates as a different user name are especially annoying.

Hi Dennis,

That user is my colleague in the university lab and we are working on the same project together.

I found his question a little vague.

Therefore I break the question into two parts: one about RT OS and one about PCI driver and asked them separately.

I don’t think that is going to bother you.

I apologize if you are annoyed.

If you check my posts again you will find some new questions:

“Why the RT OS of real time module 8.6 is installed instead of 2015?”

“Is there an easy way to install PCI driver in RT target in Labview 2015?”

And two new links that not mentioned in the previous discussion forum.

Clearly I do not want to waste your time and my time.

I will join the first discussion forum and ask my questions there.

Thanks and take it easy.
