Does Labivew8.6 and NI-RIO3.3 compatible?

Hi All

My Ni-RIO scan engine does not work. I am not allowed to install the NI-RIO with scan engine support in MAX.

Actually, I already install NI-RIO 3.3.0. But the only thing I can install is NI-RIO 3.3.0(minimal).

the Labview and RT version what i am using is 8.6.

Does anybody can help me?

When you say you are not allowed to install Scan Mode, is the option greyed out or not listed at all?

Also, there are a few caveats for which devices you can use scan mode on. What cRIO and backplane are you using? Take a look at this KnowledgeBase article that discusses the requirements for Scan Mode. Are any of your components listed here that would make it incompatible with Scan Mode?

Also, LabVIEW 8.6 is compatible with NI-RIO 3.3.0. Although, RIO 3.3.0 was introduced for LabVIEW 2009, but it mainted its backwards compatibility with LabVIEW 8.6.
