Dragging & Dropping FPGA Item on Diagram hangs LabVIEW

I have LV2021 32bit with the FPGA Module 2021 installed.

Every time I drag & drop an FPGA item (FIFO, Memory, Handshake, Register, IO…) from the project explorer to a diagram, LV hangs forever (at least 15min) and I have to kill it.
I expect it to create a method node with the default action depending on the item type, but it fails miserably.

Could that be a bug of the FPGA Module? How can I fix that?

I have not experienced this, could you post code so others can try to replicate?

Otherwise you can reach out to NI support and they will provide feedback or a bug report.

No specific code needed: new project, new FPGA target, new FPGA item dragged and dropped onto a new VI's diagram -> LabVIEW hanging.

I will contact support about this issue and post here if I find a fix.

Tried on the same configuration and am not getting any issues.

I also tried with LabVIEW 2021 SP1 (32-bit), connected to a myRIO (which shows up in MAX).  Had no problems getting a new FPGA and populating it with random Controls, Indicators, and FPGA I/O ports.
