Error 7 occurred at read from text file_Noexistent GPIB interface

Hi,

We have an oscilloscope PXIe-5171R with the chassis PXIe-1083. When we tried to use the FPGA module of PXIe-5171R an error always jumped out.

In the program, I only configured an Input Channel 0, but it still cannot be compiled.

The error is shown as,

Error 7 occurred at Read from Text File in niFpgaCodeGeneration_GetBuildResultsXML.vi->niFpgaErrorDialog_ReadErrorData.vi->niFpgaGenerateCode_ErrorDialog.vi

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW: (Hex 0x7) File not found. The file might be in a different location or deleted. Use the command prompt or the file explorer to verify that the path is correct.

Noexistent GPIB interface

C:\NIFPGA\compilation\fpga_FPGATarget_ai_JBaTvW2gLjw\BuildResults.lvtxt

I have installed all the packages for FPGA and RIO, but this error still appears and makes me confused.

I would like to know if someone has the relevant experience to solve this problem.

Thanks,

Jun

I'm fairly sure "BuildResults.lvtxt" isn't a GPIB interface.

What does that compilation log say? (the .lvtxt)

Hello Yamaeda,

In the corresponding folder(C:\NIFPGA\compilation\fpga_FPGATarget_ai_JBaTvW2gLjw\), I didn't find any document ending with .lvtxt.

Besides, here is the channel that I put in the program for compiling.
