Error writing to files on PC from PXI DAQ board.

Hi,

I'm using a NI PXIe-1071 with NI PXIe-8115 Core i5-2510E 2.5 GHz Controller and NI PXIe-6363, X Series Multifunction DAQ board.  Whenever I try to create/write to a file, I get errors.  Errors 43 and 1059 have shown up seperately.  I can run a vi through the host PC, and everything works fine, but as soon as I try to incorporate the PXI, it stops working.  Is there an issue with saving to the PC from the PXI?

We do not have enough information to give you an answer.  Could you please post the code you are using to write to file - there are quite a few options?  Also look at your hard drive on the PXIe system - is it full (your errors do not indicate this, but you should check)?

Thanks for the quick reply.  The hard drives on the PC and the PXI have plenty of room.  A colleague suggested running the vi from the host PC and using shared variable nodes to transfer the data.  It seems to be working well since I made the change.
