EtherCAT slave not showing user defined channels in LabVIEW

Hi all,

I'm facing a problem while connecting one of the EtherCAT slaves in my LabVIEW project.

I have LabVIEW Real TIme Target NI PXIe 8135 and EtherCAT Master NI8234.

I have already connected the EtherCAT Master to the LabVIEW project and also added 3 slaves to it.

Now i am facing problem while adding the 4th slave which is Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminal EL 6695.

Shown below is my labview project.

Here, the issue is, I have some user defined channels already defined on this EL 6695 slave.

But as you can see in the image only the vendor provided 3 default channels can be seen. All the user defined channels are missing.

A probable reason behind this could be that I have imported the vendor provided 'device description XML' for this slave EL 6695.

May be I should provide a modified device description XML file which will cater for my user defined IO expansion.

Looking forward to your expert comments!

Thanks in advance!

Rahul.
