Excel Find and Replace VI error

Hi：

         I am using Labview2018 with Report Generation. My PC is running Win10 and has Office2016 installed. I happened to find that "Excel Find and Replace.vi"  is error.

        Does anyone konw the reason? This Vi is original.

What does the error dialog say when you click on the broken run arrow?

However，LV2017 has no such problems

The problem may be caused by 32-64bits.

Office2016,64bits

Labview2018,32bits

I reinstall Office2106-32bits，and Labview2018-32bits。

The problem get sloved。

I wish Labview switched completely to 64bits。

Just responding because I had this same problem, but do not have the flexibility to install a 32-bit version of Office. 

I was able to resolve the error by going to the block diagram and re-selecting 'Replace' on the invoke node.  This had the effect of adding another field to the node, and once that was there, the error resolved.   I had to do this for both polymorphic instances (str and num) in order to completely resolve the issue.

I have installed LB2017 ,64 bit and Excel 2016 ,64 bit, I was facing the same error ,just follow your instruction, just Relink the Invoke Node that problem was solved .thanks for your update. Now able to Build a EXE file.

I know this is an older thread, but thanks for the solution to reselect "Replace."  It worked for me.😀
