FGEN output trigger on each standard function period

I have an PXIe-5413 FGEN device and a PXIe-5122 oscilloscope that I want to synchronize. The FGEN sends a pulse with a period of 1ms and the oscilloscope should start measuring for 100µs when the FGEN starts the pulse. But I want to measure multiple periods of the pulse and each measurement should start when the pulse is generated. I cannot use the pulse itself as the trigger as there may be a delay between when the oscilloscope starts measuring and when the pulse is generated.

I know it is possible to do this using arbitrary waveform and setting a marker position

However, I have another older function generator that doesn't support arbitrary waveforms. Since the waveform is simple, I can use a standard waveform. But those don't support markers.

How can I output a trigger at the start of each period of the standard waveform?
