FPGA XML Signal List

Hey everyone,

I'm new to using the LabVIEW FPGA module so I'm not sure how easy this question is.  Basically I am starting to take over LabVIEW FPGA development for my job and we recently upgraded to 2011 verions of LabVIEW, RT, FPGA, etc.  I am being told my one of my superiors that with the 2011 versions when you compile the FPGA target you can get an ouput XML file that contains each exported signal name.  Now the only XML file I've been able to locate that has to do with the compilation process is the "UnitOfWork.xml" in the C:\NIFPGA\compilation\<name>\... folder.

Does anyone know what I am referring to or how to accomplish this? I've spent a good amount of time searching for something on the NI website and haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks for any help in advance.

open the bitfile  *.lvbitx file that it makes in your favorite text editor or just drag the bitfile into a web browser
