Hi everyone,
I have problem compile the FPGA file. I have installed Labview2013, FPGA, realtime, driverRIO and Xilinx2013. But it still says there are problems connecting to the server. What should I do?
Thanks
best

Hi iyearning,
According to this KB it looks like you will need Xilinx Compile Tools Version 14.4 for LabVIEW 2013. Is that the version you have?

That looks like you are using a remote compile server. Are you sure that computer is turned on? Are you using the right login name and password on the compile worker?

No, I am using the local compile server, the first choice, and it shows this error. Right now I am using the cloud server and it works well. But I still want to figure out what's wrong with the local server.

Hi,
Yes, this is the version I installed, exactly.

Assuming that this is a Windows system, check to see that both the application web server and the system web server system services are running. There are both 32 & 64 bit versions of these services and if my experience is anything to go by, the version that is run should match the installed LabVIEW system rather than the installed Windows system, if they are different. At least here, any significant updates to LabVIEW always break this functionality so the services fail to start properly and I end up having to run the installer repair option on the most recent LabVIEW development system to get the services to work again.
