Force AMREL PLA series out of remote mode

I have a number of different lab instruments. I can use the "VISA GPIB Control REN" VI to kick every GPIB device out of remote GPIB mode with each VISA session with the exception of the AMREL PLA800-120-150 electronic load. When I try to set mode to local, nothing happens.

Has anyone every encountered this problem?

Hi:

The fact that all your other instruments respond correctly to the VISA GPIB Control REN VI leads to believe that that particular device has some customized instructions that might cause this problem. You can check your device manual for specific details.
