The university I am attending is using LabVIEW 2011 for its assignments and they can't see anything I save using the 2012 version. Is there a way I can save the VIs in the 2011 format using the 2012 version? If not where can I download LabView 2011?

Yes.
Save for Previous Version on the file menu.
You just need to look at the options on your file menu.

Thanks for the quick replys. I always usd the keyboard shortcuts and expected to find a drop down in file type like in microsoft's word.
