Seeing this topic I think you can add on other thing to the list of things a LV programmer is doing with its time.

Hanging around on the LV forums and making a fool out of them self ( and others).

I don't know how they have time to spend on forums.  I'm too busy to do anything more than post quick comments... Wait a minute!  I resemble that remark.  😞

I dont know what was your context,Please dont mind but we are also very busy with our work but spending sometime for helping others who helped us to understand our problems earlier is good thing.

Thanks

I'm not a fulltime LabVIEW developer, but it's the main part of my job.

However, the LabVIEW work demand depends on the project needs. E.g.: Right now I'm working with an android application, because the LabVIEW software is ready to go.

But when I'm on LabVIEW days, I spend most of my time working on documentation and tests envolving the communication between software x firmware, but perhaps this is a peculiar case and not so common (I really don't know).

Another thing is: It all depends on your application area and even in your formation. Since I don't have a electronics/electrical background (e.g.: engineering), most of my job is related to IT (which is actually my formation). So I'm not designing any pcb board or doing specific tests, but general final product use.
