You posted essentially the same question twice.  You clearly have not properly installed LabVIEW.  I suspect that much of the problem is the file (or files) that you are using for the installation.  If you continue to have trouble, go to support.ni.com and "Ask an Engineer".

I wouldn't be surprised if it is an illegal copy of LabVIEW 2012 that he mentions in his other post.

Hello HalaR,

I've seen this issue before (even with LabVIEW 2015). Could you try following Step V (titled 'Icons or Palettes are Missing') at the following link? I've also pasted the relevant steps below.

LabVIEW 7.0 and higher

  1. Go to Tools»Advanced»Edit Palette Set…
  2. Three windows will pop up: (a) the Edit Controls and Functions Palettes window, (b) the Controls window, and (c) the Functions window.
  3. Right click in empty space within the sub-palette and select Insert»Subpalette...
  4. Select the link to an existing menu file (.mnu) and click OK.
  5. Select Save Changes and exit and re-enter LabVIEW.

If those steps do not work (a restart of LabVIEW may be required), then I would suggest repairing your installation of LabVIEW according to these directions. If the repair does not solve the issue then a reinstallation of LabVIEW may take longer but should properly install all the required resouces LabVIEW uses.

Are you using LabVIEW 2012? If so, then updating to LabVIEW 2012 SP1 via the NI Update Service may also fix the issue.

Please let us know if any of those steps prove successful. Have a nice day!
