Get image invoke method gives blank image when I try to capture waveform graph picture

yes , Anand i am able to see  images on waveform graph. Even if a graph front panel  has a meaning full picture without  waveform. It can not be completely blank.

Hi Ben,

I'll check it tomorrow and if it works on lv 8.6 , I will definately give kudos to you.It should not be machine problem. Because i tried this code on 3 different machines including high end  machine.  Definately your answers have depth.

ok one more try can you replace the graph with a chart and do the same thing. Since am using 2009 and 11 am not able to do any R & D

You were correct. It's a bug in lv 8.5.1. Same code works fine at lv 8.6.

But the problem is that I have to use only lv 8.5.1 and i can't change it .As there is another software being used for sequencing of lv files  in my company which accepts only lv 8.5.1 files.Can NI help us to fix this bug only in lv 8.5.1?

"Can" yes, as indicated by the fact NI fixed it in LV 8.6.

Is there an existing fix for 8.5? I suspect not.

That depends on what is the cost and what is the return for NI (after all they are obligated to make a profit).

Talk to your local rep since they are responsible for keeping you happy. They can get things done if you can make the case. Aside from the local rep helping your best approach would probably be to just update to LV 8.6. I have in the past had to ask NI for "special" versions of their code. The first time the customer was effectivley reselling FieldPoint hardware so the special thing was added. in the second case, I got a 7 figure quote (which was very resonable for what i was asking).

Thinking outside the box:

If the on-screen image of the graph is OK have you tried get an image of the entire FP and then cropping it down to just the graph? That is something that NI Support should be able to help you figure out as a work-around.

That would cost less than 7 figures.
