We are working on this years WRO challange using HiTechnic Motor controllers provided in the starter kit.
It commucicates via I2C with the MyRio we are using as controller. It also came with two optical encoders.
Our problem is that the system seems not beeing able to recognise that the encoders are connected or not beeing able to read them.
We have pretty much ruled out hardware problems. We have measured the data wire of the optical encoder, and the signal there matches the expected signal.
I attached the sample code that we have tried with this setup. We are using "pitsco_education_lib_tetrix_myrio_tools_ht-1.0.0.3" this library for motor controll.
What could be our problem?
