How can I install Labview 7?

I've received a project in Labview 5 but now I'm having to use Labview 2023. I read that Labview 7 is a intermediate solution between Labview 5 and Labview 2023 thanks to I could open and read the older file. Is it true? How can I install labview 7? I can't find the file to download.

I think now on the download page, even though you have SSD account also only able to download version 9 as eldest.

You need to contact NI Tech Support directly to get this.
or if you just want to convert and your code is not secret, try the version conversion board.

Yes, LV 7 can definitely open LV 5 VIs. I believe that LV 8.2 is the last version which can open LV 5 files directly, so you could also use that if you can find it.

If you're OK with sharing the code, you can post it on the version conversion board.

One point to consider is that there are various differences which might make the code unusable in newer versions (for example, using APIs which are no longer supported, like NI-DAQ) and you might have to various adaptations.

Many of the older LabVIEW versions won't install on Windows 7, to say nothing about Windows 10.  Somewhere I have a VM running Windows 2000 (I'm not at all sure where it is, at the present), but the Conversion Board is the place I'd go, myself, with such a question.
