How can I use a counter input to trigger a waveform

I want to read the counter input from a PCI-6711 card and trigger generation of a waveform at every rising edge of the counter. How can I do that? Please help

I believe we will need a bit more information regarding your application:

1. Are you looking to generate Analog Output using simply and External Clock? (i.e. Generate samples every Rising/Falling Edge)

2. Are you looking for a re-triggerable Analog output system generating arbitrary waveforms on a pulse trigger signal? 

3. What have you tried so far in implementing this system? Are there any VIs in the LabVIEW Example Finder (Help>>Find Examples), that may implement such techniques?
