How do I take a rms reading using the DAQmx READ VI?

I am currently trying to set up a sequence that will take various rms and resistance measurements in a loop. I had been using the "DAQ Assistant" but when the loop starts over i got an error message about the resource being reserved. I then tried using the "DAQmx read" VI for an AC measurement and it finally looped repeatedly, but my rms readings were all over the palce. Any help would be welcome. Thanks.

Just saying you are taking an 'AC Measurement' does not provide much information. Since most NI DAQ board are only DC coupled, I don't know what your AC measurement really means. How is the DAQmx configured (sample rate/number of samples) and what is the type of input signal?
