How to control direction of a dc motor without sensors using 9474?

For our project we need to change the direction of a dc motor. For +12V it should turn to a direction and for the -12V it should go opposite.

We tried individualy plugging DO1 and COM of NI 9474 to +ve n -Ve terminal of motor, and it turned clockwise.

Next we tried DO1 and COM to -ve and +ve of motor, and it went in reverse direction.

Now we need to control this in labview. Can we use the circuit attached over here?

 Your attached circuit will not work. DO0 and DO1 are both shorted to ground at the motor terminals in your circuit.
