How to enable/disable physical channels

Hi Rarvizu,

Attached is the VI I placed in the other thread as a snippet, as you requested via PM. This you can simply download and open.

However, I'll also just detail my process to open the snippet, since it can be fiddly (and probably depends on lots of annoying details like browser, operating system, maybe LabVIEW version??).

  • I went to the thread where the file was originally posted. I couldn't manage to download the snippet form you copied to the private message - that always appeared as an image for me.
  • I opened the image by clicking on it. Some half-window popup type thing appears.
  • I clicked the download button (to the right of the Kudos star and Report flag).
  • I dragged from my browser's downloads bar that appears at the bottom of my browser (Chrome) to an already open block diagram. I used a blank one, but you can also drag snippets into existing block diagrams with other code.
    • Usually when you start dragging, LabVIEW loses focus and goes to the back. To deal with this, hold the mouse, hover over the LabVIEW icon on the taskbar, and wait until it pops up again. Then drag to the block diagram.

I am sorry, I failed to mention that I wanted to build an executable, that would allow the user to select any combination of the four channels.

Thank you .

I typically use either a configuration file or a configuration UI that will open at startup to handle this.
