How to put pi as a numeric constant

I have to multiply my array by 2pi but I can't figure out how to type pi in a numeric constants box. I tried typing pi and using the alt code alt 227 but that doesn't work. I'm also a little unsure as to what data type pi would fit in DBL, I32 or another. Thanks for any help

Alt 227 is just a string character.  It doesn't mean the value of PI.

Did you look under the Numeric >> Math Constants palette?
