How to skip pulses with a NI-PXI 5402

Hello,

I was wondering whether it is possible to skip pulses with a NI-PXI 5402. For instance I have a signal of 10 MHz and I would like my system to skip 1, 2 and 4 pulses of the selected frequency pulse train.

I don't fully understand your question.  Are you saying you want to maintain the 10MHz pulse width of the signal in a square wave, but you want to take the signal down to 5MHz, 2.5MHz, and 1.25MHz?
