How to undamp a signal

Hi

I have a signal from a feedback mechanism and it is damped. I was hoping is there any way I can input energy into the signal so that the frequency remains same and the amplitude of the signal is what it was before damping started.

Thanks

Hi melanogastor,

Are you controlling this feedback system with LabVIEW? If not, this may not be the best place to look for an answer.

If your system is outputting a damped signal, then that's pretty much what you have to work with. If you wanted to undo the damping, you would need to find out the damping ratio to even know the rate at which energy needs to be added to the system.
