How to write a LabVIEW program with NI 9201 and NI 9481

I need to write a LabVIEW program for automating a pressure scanning system for a supersonic wind tunnel. I have very little programming experience in LabVIEW and in general.

I need to read the voltage from a single pressure transducer for 29 separate pressure taps connected to a Scanivalve. All voltages are read through channel ai0 of NI 9201.

I need to use the NI 9481 relay to step through the channels on the Scanivalve, and each time the relay steps to the next channel, I need the NI 9201 to recognize the new measurement.

During or at the end of the scan, I need to plot the voltage measured at each tap versus the tap number (0, 1, 2, ..., 28).

Ideally, the scanning process would be automated, with 3 seconds between each relay step.

Both the NI 9201 and NI 9481 are in a 4-slot NI cDAQ-9174 chassis.

How can we help, when you don't ask specific questions?

- You will find a lot of examples in your LabVIEW installation: just look for the "Help" menu...
