I get an error message on start up NIDevDisc.exe - Unable to Locate Component

Hi

Problem as stated above. It says that it can't find cvrte.dll.

1 ran msconfig and found that it was in
c:/program files/national instruments/NI USB Autolauncher/NIDevDisc

Does anyone know why i'm getting this error message.

Hi,

It sounds like you have a partial install of some NI software on your system. Have you recently (un)installed any software on your system. Also are you using any NI hardware??
