This is my implementation: A PCB 200C20 force sensor is connected directly to NI 9234 DAQ and NI USB-9162. Hence the data output is connected to PC for further signal processing. Below are my concerns:
1. PCB 200C20 is a ICP Quartz Impact Force Sensors which required ICP sensor signal conditioner before its output. So is that mean I must connect a signal conditioner to the force sensor before the data output to NI9234?
2. Can I choose not to use signal conditioner in my system? What problems I will face if I neglect the signal conditioner and directly connected the force sensor to data acquisition?
3. If signal conditioner is necessary to be implemented, besides PCB 482A21 , what are the other model of PCB ICP Quartz Impact Force suitable for PCB 200C20 force sensor? Or what are the criteria for a ICP sensor signal conditioner to connect PCB 200C20 force sensor?
