Installer build specification hanging

When I right-click an installer build spec and select 'Properties', the project hangs for a huge amount of time before opening the properties window.

Also, when the installer is actually built, the performance seems extremely slow. The progress bar stays at 0% for several minutes sometimes. Once the progress bar starts moving, it moves pretty quickly, usually finishing in under 30 seconds.

Anybody know what's going on here? I don't see why such severe performance issues should come up when attempting to view installer properties.

For background: this is LabVIEW 2015 x64, Windows 8, attempting to build an installer for a large project which uses many packed libraries.

Could it be as simple as the fact that you're building the installer for a large project? You could try creating a test project that is quite a bit smaller in order to compare the performance of your system between large and small projects. Try to access the properties on the small project and see if it runs any faster. Let me know if it works!

Yes, with a project of any size, the installer dialog can be very "leisurely" in opening. How big is your project? What version of LV? What OS? Once open does the installer build correctly?
