Hi,
I seem to be unable to install the Add-Ons FPGA Compilation Tool for Vivado 2021.1 (2022 Q3) and FPGA Compilation Tool for ISE 14.7 (2020).
For context :
I am trying du reproduce a LabVIEW and NI products installation on a new computer. I have one computer with a working installation and I want to redo the instalaltion from scratch on another.
I have a list of Add-Ons, toolkits and drivers to install, and the version number for each one of them.
I am following the installations steps : LabView version then Add-Ons then Toolkits then Drivers.
I first installed the LabView distribution needed (2022 Q3), and I went on to install the Add-Ons.
When I try to install those 2 mentionned Add-Ons, through the NI package manager, I get stuck at the very first installation step : "Initializing Transaction". Then it just loads forever and nothing happens, no error code, nothing just endless "init. transaction". All the others Add-Ons have been installed successfully.
I am working on Windows 10, I know that the compilation tool for ISE 14.7 doesn't support Windows 8 and further but on the other PC, having the installation I am trying to replicate, there's no problem and both compilations tools are installed (on windows 10).
Does anyone have an idea of what I may be doing wrong ?
Any advice would be helpful.
Thanks

I believe that the LabVIEW IDE must be activated and registered before the FPGA Addons can be installed. A reboot may also be required. In essence, all prerequisite licenses should be fully installed before starting. Reboot almost always shows a "Completing/Finalizing installation/Activation" message.
Moreover, the "Please close all other applications... " request ought to be respected. NI MAX is especially unforgiving about the MAX database being adjusted. while MAX is open many of the files under the hood may be locked be MAX whenever MAX wants to with NO documentation, rhyme or reason. NI MAX is NOT the only application that can be troublesome in this manner- best to just stop for coffee during your installation.

Thanks for the answer,
I'll try with the licences activated, this may be a first try.
I'm pretty sure all other applications were closed, but "pretty sure" is not enough.
I'll come back here if the licence doesn't help.
Thanks again.
