The description for the LabVIEW Core 2 course says it "uses" LabVIEW Professional Development System. Can I complete LabVIEW Core 2 if I only have the Base Development System?

The LabVIEW Core 2 course primarily "uses" the LabVIEW Professional Development System, which includes advanced features and toolsets not available in the Base Development System. However, many of the fundamental concepts and exercises covered in LabVIEW Core 2 can still be completed using the Base Development System.
Remember that you may encounter limitations or specific functionalities exclusive to the Professional Development System. To ensure a seamless learning experience and access to all course materials and exercises, it is recommended to use the LabVIEW Professional Development System if possible. If you only have access to the Base Development System, you should check with the course provider for any specific requirements or potential workarounds. Official Site

Hi Gahan,
While you might be able to start the LabVIEW Core 2 course with the Base Development System, you may encounter limitations that could hinder your progress (Advanced VIs and Functions, Certain toolkits and add-ons are not included in the Base Development System). If you are serious about completing the course without these potential barriers, it's recommended to upgrade to at least the Full Development System.
This is all I remember from when I did CORE 2.

You could use the LabVIEW Community Edition, which is the Professional system but with a non-commercial license. The license does cover training.
