LV 8.5 installation error 10008

I have encountered this error code while installing LV 8.5

.\LinkedDistribution.cpp(221): IInstallerError 10008
Fatal Error. Unable to launch the linked distribution National Instruments Device Drivers.
Failed to start National Instruments Device Drivers with command line "D:\Device Drivers\DCD-Aug07-1\setup.exe" /linkedcustom /masterHwnd 403e0.
Windows Error Windows Error 193: 193

However, the installation went on after I hit cancel

I also encountered a couple times the message 'can not read from the specific device', which I skipped

eventually, I was told that installation failed. However, the installer went on to active the copy, and I was able to launch LV.

What is going on here?

Good evening and I hope your well today.

Did you have any previous NI Software on the machine ebfore you installed? 

What OS are you trying to support on to?  

I would recommend when having trouble installing NI Softare to firstly transfer the contents of the DVD (CD) which you wish to install onto a networked driver or your harddisk. Then run the install from there. I would then select only to install the ADEs, such as LabVIEW. Once these have successfully installed, go back at run the install again to install the Modules and Toolkits, and then once again to install the NI Drivers.  

Where are you installing the NI softare from, driver D as the error suggestion?
