LV2009/Win7 'Not Responding'

Using LV2009 SP1 in Windows7/64bit.  This is happening all the time now: the more changes I make to the front panel, the more Labview slows down.  Eventually Windows says 'Not responding' which sometimes goes away, but eventually it 'Not responds' indefinitely.  Commonly it happens when I try to Save but it seems to happen cumulatively after changing/editing FP objects.

For example, I just selected several Waveform chart Digital displays and R Clicked Properties.  The popup window became very slow but I was able to edit the property.  Then when I Saved, it locked up permanently.  This keeps happening and is very frustrating.  I also note that this never happened under LV2009/XP.  Any ideas?

Too many.

Maybe you have tons of data on the chart. Maybe you have front panel controls with tons of data on them. Maybe you have pictures on the front panel, causing constant refresh/repainting. Maybe you have ActiveX controls. Maybe you have some .NET controls. Maybe you have some IMAQ controls that are saving image data. Maybe your code chops up memory as it's running so you're doing a lot of memory thrashing. Maybe ...

Provide some more details and maybe we can provide some useful information.

None of those are the case in my program.  Also, I'm talking about when I'm editing/saving the VI front panel, not while running it.  So there's no data anywhere.  It's something odd between my PC/Windows/LV because as I said, it never happened earlier (with an albeit ~20% less cluttered FP) under XP on a different PC.

Is your CPU running wildly? There was some issue with transparant control borders that slowed things down.
