LVsound2.dll

I have an application that runs just fine in LabView 2018 on Windows 7 Professional.  The same application will not run on Windows 10 because it will not recognize LVsound2.dll.  Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't run into any problem running LabVIEW 2018 32-bit lvsound2.dll under Windows 10 64-bit, and have spent a fair bit of time using it (see the project in my sig).

Are you using 32-bit or 64-bit LabVIEW? What about 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7 and Windows 10?

What's the exact error message when the dll isn't recognized?

This is 32 bit LabView 2018. It was also on the latest version of Windows enterprise version.  We were running it on a Dell Blade (forget the model).  LabView complained that the DLL was not valid.  It is the same DLL that runs with the same application under Windows professional without any errors/problems or complaints.

Hi dpatch,

Is the DLL in the correct file path? Here is a bit of documentation on the proper location.

Is there any error code associated with this issue?

Do any of the LabVIEW example sound VIs work on Windows 10 Enterprise? For example the VI located at C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2018\examples\Graphics and Sound\Sound\Sound File to Sound Output.vi
