LabVIEW 2024 Q1 Patch 1 and LabVIEW 2024 Q1 Patch 1 FPGA Module are now available

LabVIEW 2024 Q1 Patch 1 (24.1.1f1) is now available in NI Package Manager (in the Updates tab) and the ni.com download page for LabVIEW.

 

You can review the fixes by finding the items in the LabVIEW Bug Fix List that say "Fixed in LabVIEW 2024 Q1 Patch 1."

 

LabVIEW 2024 Q1 Patch 1 FPGA Module is also available in NI Package Manager and the ni.com download page for the LabVIEW FPGA module.

 

You can review the fixes in the LabVIEW FPGA Module Bug Fix List that say "Fixed in LabVIEW FPGA Module 2024 Q1 Patch 1."

Hi

 

Thanks for the Hobbyist related update :

 

Unable to Connect to Raspberry Pi 5 Using Hobbyist Toolkit Target Configuration Dialog

Workaround:

Fixed in LabVIEW 2024 Q1 Patch 1.

 

However it does not quite work as intended, I guess. I see this :

So, it connects, but get no useful data from the RP 5.

 

Which probably explains why the next steps 'Installation' and 'Target Info' are empty and has no action.

 

Is this expected behavior ?

Hi again

 

Answering my own question.

 

The Target Configuration panel does not flag, if the connection actually failed, because a wrong password was specified. Which was the issue for me.

 

So it works using the proper password.
