LabVIEW 7 and PCI-GPIB on Mac 10.4.x

I installed a PCI-GPIB board on a Power Mac G4 (OS 10.4.11) running LabVIEW 7.0.  I upgraded to 488.2 2.5.5.  The troubleshooting wizard passes the first two tests, but fails the third (i.e., "GPIB interfaces sequentially verified" fails).  The board appears to be OK : I put it in a Windows machine and successfully used it to control my device.  However, I would like this to work on the G4.

I am willing to upgrade LabVIEW to a later version if this would help.

Thanks,

Dan Gordon

Hi Dan,

There is a newer version of the 488.2 driver available 2.5.6, you may want to give that a try. The following KnowledgeBase article talks about the proper steps to trouble shoot the error you are seeing.

PCI or PCMCIA GPIB Device Fails the GPIB Interfaces Sequentially Verified Test

Let us know if you encounter any issues.

Thanks
