Bonjour,
Merci d'avance. Bien cordialement.

How much engineering hours do you have available? Implementing your own RS-232 interface with digital or analog signals is not impossible but a lot of work for a very mediocre result.
- The resulting interface is electrically NOT RS-232 compliant without extra hardware.
- The achievable baud rates will be extremely low.
- The communication will be even at very low speeds difficult to make really reliable.

My bench test works 24/24 during weeks and i need a really reliable to have a good result.
Thanks for your answer.

Since you need a reliable solution, you can use USB-232 and you need to use NI-VISA drivers to communicate.
BTW, DAQs do not come with any sort of communication protocol. Typically, DAQs contain Analog Input/Output, Digital Input/Output, Counters and signal conditioning.

To maximize reliability, I highly recommend a commercial grade externally powered USB hub for all of your USB connections. I have had issues, particularly with laptops, where the built-in hubs do not supply enough power for the DAQ and/or RS-232 devices. I am personally a fan of StarTech for these and USB-RS-232 adapters.
