Hi,
as far as CORBA goes, there is no specific implementation of any LabVIEW toolset that interfaces with CORBA compliant systems.
Probably, the best chances are you try and get advantage of COM technology. Crawling around on the web I found there are quite a few implementations of COM Bridges to CORBA (ORBIX for example). LabVIEW can leverage COM technology, and probably this is the best way to interface LabVIEW and CORBA.

Thanks a lot.

I was looking for Labview CORBA support 'cause I'm trying to integrate SW written in different languages (Python, Java and Labview) in a portable way. I could do that by using JNI or dll calls, but this is my last chance.

Using CORBA I could just register services and call them, doens't matter the language they've been written in. There are obviuosly CORBA implementations for Java and even for Python...now I'll try to follow the way you saggusted me.

Thanks again,

Hi,

We have developed a turn key LabView Adapter for CORBA.  We can provide a CORBA Client, Server, and/or DDS interface to LabView under Windows, Linux, and RT.  If you need to tie a CORBA interface to LabView, we have the mechnism, and is tested and maintained with the current CORBA releases.  We have 15 CORBA servers running on one PXI chassis processor and clients on other chasissis.  We are testing our port to cRIO as well.

Contact me at 410.924.1172 if interested.

Did you see the phone number at the end of the previous Reply?  If you are not in the US, start dialing with +1 ...

But be aware that that post is 10 years old. So the person who knows about this might be not working there anymore.
