Hi,
I have just got a NI-WSN development kit from my professor to work on a project. I am very new to Labview and WSN controllers. I was given a set of Labview
DVDs, WSN Pioneer installation disc and NI-DAQmx 9.3 disc. The WSN pioneer CD has an evaluation period of just 60 days. Can I develop my WSN applications
without the WSN pioneer module ? What is its role ? Thank you.
Regards,
Xinke
PS: I was trying unsuccessfully to post on the "Wireless sensor networks" Board so I post this on the labview board. Is the "Wireless Sensor Networks" Boards restricted ?

Hi Xinke,
The NI LabVIEW WSN Module Pioneer is essentially an add-on module for LabVIEW. This allows you to add functionality to LabVIEW which allows you to develop graphical code that can be deployed to the WSN nodes. This code is for adding intelligence to the node which could be for optimizing node behavior or for making decisions on the node. This module is only compatible with the programmable NI WSN measurement nodes. I have included a link to the module product page below for further information.
This add on is not required for simple data logging on the NI-WSN nodes, which only requires the free NI-WSN software.
I am going to raise the problems you have been experiencing with the website to the relevant people.
