Just joking. You can post in this forum because you (or someone else for you) registered to the ni.com site as a new user.

Please input the registered username (most probably an e-mail address) and the associated password.

EDIT: with the old Internet Explorer I could download the runtime with no credentials

Several browsers are not supporting FTP access anymore. If you need to do FTP, it is usually better to use a dedicated tool. Under Windows there is WinSCP which supports among others FTP, SFTP, SCP, WebDAV and Amazon S3.
