Labview 2020 Softmotion- SolidWorks Assembly import showing timeout error

Hello. When trying to import a SolidWorks assembly into a new or an already existing project (Using Labview 2020), an error message pops up stating that 'The SOLIDWORKS application could not be opened within the designated timeout period". The project window shows a default "SolidWorks assembly" object present in the project tree after this, but there are no usual functions available (i.e. synchronise). When trying to deploy it, it shows that model cant be read/scan engine not working.

I tried the following methods to possibly rectify it without any luck-
1. Already have the SolidWorks assembly open before starting the import.
2. Made sure the Motion Study module is aready ON and also made sure to change the setting to allow auto-startup of the module whenever a new SolidWorks instance opens (Tried it with both toggling the setting ON and OFF).
3. Made sure all drivers, modules of Labview are up-to-date and also valid Softmotion module is installed.
4. Tried it with SolidWorks versions 2021 SP5.1 and SolidWorks 2022 SP05.

Haven't used SoftMotion with Solidworks, but would this document help?  (SoftMotion is now discontinued by NI.)
