The update from 3.1 to 3.1.1 was the 1st I found on the ni page,

and yes its the student edition (LVSE).

I got access to another floppy disk set, but not luck on installing it on XP Pro (with SP3) yet.

Could not open the file named: ...
disk1
ZADVD.LL_
disk2
DSP.LL_
disk3
DAQ.LL_
disk4
LVSE.EX_

It seems that the floppies are gone to the floppy heaven.

So toying a littel with LV 3.1 will not be awaylabe for me.

Now the next issue you might be able to help.

It's about LabWindows for DOS 2.2, I don't get it running in the DOSBox,

the floppies are fine, the installation works too, but LWfD will not run.

Did somebody has a clou to solve this riddel?

Hi chatnick,

Windows XP is only compatible with LabVIEW versions 6.1 and later, as seen in the Windows Version Compatibility with LabVIEW KnowledgeBase.  I hope this saves you some time and energy!
